The whole job: the roof survey and structural assessment, the system design and a written proposal, the mounting structure, the panels, inverter, DC and AC cabling, protection and earthing, the tie in to your existing distribution, and the application to the distribution utility for the metering approval. For homes, that includes preparing and following up the central subsidy application.

The projects page lists them: the rooftop plants on our register, with the capacity the works order states, the state and the month each was handed over, and the ones still on site. The published capacity total counts only the plants whose paperwork states a capacity, so the real figure is higher. Most of the work has been for central government departments and defence works organisations, through CPWD, MES and GeM.

It is central financial assistance for rooftop systems on homes, so commercial and industrial roofs are not covered by it. The amount is set by the ministry against system size and has been revised since the scheme opened, so any figure we print names the ministry document it comes from and the date we last checked it. Registration is on the national portal, the installation has to be done by a registered vendor, and the utility has to inspect and install the net meter before the assistance is released. We confirm the figure that applies to you in writing before you commit to anything.

Both answers come out of the survey, in writing, and neither is published here. The price depends on the roof, the structure it needs and the system size; the payback depends on the tariff you are actually displacing and how much of your consumption is during daylight. The estimator on this site sizes a system from your bill and prints the assumptions it used. It is a sizing aid, not a quotation.

That is decided at the survey rather than in advance. Concrete and sheeted roofs take different mounting arrangements, and the structural assessment of the existing roof happens before anything is fixed to it. The commitment we make is that the mounting is installed so the roof's waterproofing survives the installation.

We do. The net metering application, the coordination and the commissioning with the utility meter in place are part of the job rather than something handed back to you. The firm's existing distribution work runs through the same offices, which is the practical reason this step is routine here.

Documentation is handed over and you are shown what the system is doing and how to read it. Maintenance support afterwards runs through the same service engineers who cover the rest of the firm's work.
